Data Centre

Our servers are based in Cheltenham, UK in a secure Tier 4 aligned facility in our own private rack space.

We own and manage our own servers

Unlike many other smaller hosting providers we own and manage our own servers from our own private rack space which allows us to deliver an excellent quality of service and high uptime figures.

Our servers are managed by us both remotely via our own KVMoIP hardware and also on-site. We also have a 24/7 remote hands agreement with SLA's as an added backup.

Server Monitoring

Our servers are monitored 24/7 by server side and external monitoring systems which will alert our technicians of any potential hardware, software or network issues and also server abuse issues, e.g. accounts trying to send bulk email.

Network

We use a carrier neutral, low latency network comprised of Premium Tier 1 Transit Links including: LINX, Telia, Zayo, EntaNet, Tinet, NTT, Virgin and Colt. Each server is connected via a dedicated 1gbps port from our own switches.

Server Specifications

All of our servers are powered by Intel Xeon E3 CPUs with Hyper Threading and Turbo Boost, 32GB DDR4 RAM and Solid State Drives in RAID10.

Security

The data centre has 24/7 on-site security and the facility is surrounded by 10ft metal fencing with secure gated access. The entrance gate also uses ANPR and CCTV so security can confirm the identity of any persons coming on site.

Data Backup

We perform daily backups of all server data, stored both locally and remotely to our own backup servers.
